“ First time here, it was a last minute decision on Christmas but they were able to accommodate us for hibachi. I've been to many hibachi places and I definitely felt like this place was up there regarding the food and chef experience. The flavor of the food was on point. I thought the fried rice was excellent as well as the filet mignon tender and cooked to perfection. I love that they add a lot of garlic, my breath stank but it was worth it! I was sad they didn't give 2 shrimp to everyone like most places but the food was good so it didn't ruin my experience. They were good accommodating allergies. Definitely a bit more on the expensive side when it comes to hibachi but I definitely plan on coming back! ”
“ Love love love. Delicious food and the manager, Le, couldn't be more helpful. She is so kind and went above and beyond to help me set up a fundraiser for our local school. They are generous and give back to the community, are friendly and hospitable, and good quality food for both the sushi dining room and the hibachi. One of our favorite spots and highly recommend. ”
“ Came here for lunch with my sister and friend after we had spent a day at the spa. We walked in and were seated right away. The menu is different from the one in south Windsor. But had many of the same things. One thing I always get is the tobiko sushi. At this Sakura they had red and black. I stayed with the red. Maybe next time I'll try the black. We opted for the hibachi area and our hibachi chef was great. He definitely had us engaged in the dinner and his cooking. The food was good as always. How can you go wrong with hibachi made in front of you. ”
“ Came here for my birthday dinner. Sat with a family who was loud and unappreciative, which made the cook switch his demeanor real quick (1 sake squirt, not food tricks) Wasn't my average hibachi experience. Food was okay. WAY too much lemon on the chicken. Not sure if they use it for flavor or to cover up something. Never had lemon juice in any hibachi style before ”
“ Truly enjoyed the hibachi experience. The chef was full of entertainment and kept our table laughing. Not an easy fete with 4 children and three adults. Everything was tasty. I ordered shrimp which was perfectly prepared- my kids ended up eating my order. I ended up eating their chicken which was fresh and cooked perfectly. Maybe a lil bland for my liking but hey that's what the dipping sauces are for. Both sauces were tasty. The soup and salad were excellent. The ginger dressing on the salad had the perfectly balance of ginger with slight hint of sweetness. ”
“ I've been going here for over 10 years and I've never had a bad experience. Their hibachi chicken fried rice is to die for but my main order is always shrimp tempura sushi rolls. That's all I've been ordering recently (3 rolls) and they're the best restaurant to go eat sushi. Highly recommended ”
“ My favorite place for a Japanese style lunch. My preferred order is the chicken tempura lunch special comes with a salad or soup, tempura vegetables, rice, california roll, and shrimp shumai. This hits the spot every time. This restaurant is in a good area. We're always seated immediately. Very beautiful inside. I just feel like we get rushed whenever we're here. I will keep coming back regardless. ”
“ Came here tonight with my family and got the Sakura fried rice, the teriyaki steak, the boneless ribs, and then the chicken hibachi! We loved everything we ordered and my mom actually frequents this place. She recommended the fried potstickers over the lemongrass one. My brother also said they have never had a bad server here. I can't say enough good things about our server Shiloh. Thank you so much for your attentiveness. ”
“ My girlfriend and I do a weekend girls trip to Glastonbury and always stop here for Sushi & Scorpion bowls. It doesn't matter how long between visits, they always remember us. Great place, great service and awesome food. You will not be disappointed! ”
“ This is my favorite Japanese Hibachi restaurant in Glastonbury. Although the prices a a bit high, the food has always been delicious. The restaurant has great ambience, good seating and wonderful service, you get greeted when you enter and host will take you to your tables when available. Highly recommend the hibachi, very nice hibachi cooks that entertain you, they take care of the our dietary restrictions if you tell them when placing the order. On our last visit went for lunch and tried the sushi lunch box and a beef Negimaki lunch box. Both comes with a soup or salad, the sushi box you get to choose from a few varieties such as yellow tail, tuna, white tuna, shrimp, crab meat, Salmon etc. the beef negimaki comes with California roles, fried rice for an extra $4 and some dumplings. Everything tasted delicious Highly recommend this place if you are in mood for a great sushi and sashimi or hibachi fare. ”
